The metal foils have a precise thickness tolerance (T3). The following thicknesses can all be supplied:

• Up to 0.06 mm (in increments of 0.005 mm)
• Up to 0.30 mm (in increments of 0.01 mm)
• Up to 1.00 mm (in increments of 0.05 mm)
• Up to 2.00 mm (in increments of 0.10 mm)
• Up to 3.20 mm (in increments of 0.20 mm)
• Plus, 3.54 - 3.80 - 4.00 and 5.03 mm

Bossard provides various non-standard thickness between 0,11 and 0,29 mm in stainless steel and hardened stainless steel (1.4034) similar to AISI 420, with a thickness between 1,00 and 3,00 mm.
