At the end of 2020, the solar panel project was put into action: the solar panels, inverters, emergency overflow roof drains, and a new tranformer were all installed. Now, everything is up and running.

Arjan Hoekman, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager at Jeveka: “Of course, Jeveka was already equipped with solar panels. However, with the addition of these 1128 new panels, our roof is now entirely full of solar panels, and we will generate an extra power output of approximately 420,000 kWh. On a yearly basis this amounts to a CO2 saving of 200 tons. Because of this, Jeveka will be entirely self-sufficient for electricity. We are incredibly proud to have completed this remarkable and sustainable project, in collaboration with Heembouw and Zonnegild B.V.”
